At Tingha Public School we offer a transition program across all years of primary education, commencing with preschool to kindergarten and finishing with year 6 into high school.

Preschool to kindergarten

Our preschool to kindergarten transition program occurs each Thursday during terms 3 and 4 each year.

Transition information packs are available from the front office during term 2.

Our Kindergarten to year 1 transition program occurs each Thursday during terms 3 and 4 each year.

This program allows students to 'roll up a grade' and experience what learning looks like in their class next year.

Our year 6 to year 7 transition program occurs term 3 and 4 each year.

Our students are exposed to a variety of experiences ranging from year advisor visits to our school, through to Sapphire small school transition days and all school transition days at the high school campus of their choice.
